Appearance: clear yellow gold, frothy white head white excellent retention. Fast rising bubbles.
Aroma: Floral, herbal, grainy.
Flavor: Grainy malt, spicy/herbal hops, low sweetness. Moderate bitterness.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied, drying, medium length dry finish.
Overall: A spot on German style Pils. Hops makes its presence known without overwhelming the malt flavor. Dry, crisp, and clean finish with a low lingering bitterness. Well crafted.

I couldn't find a date on the label or can. I searched numerous 4-packs on the shelf and none of them were dated so it's possible Benchtop has stopped dating their beers.
Appearance: The body is a lighter shade of gold with a touch of haze. It has a lot of visible carbonation which leads up to a medium-sized fluffy white head with numerous pock-marks across the surface. It has very good head retention and it leaves some spotty lacing on the glass. The highlight of the appearance is the head.
Aroma: It has a slightly spicy and herbal hop note which is mild. There is a light bit of a dough scent that joins in at equal strength. It has a bit of a lemon zest aroma on the nose as well.
Taste: A bit of cracker and bread dough flavor up front, followed by some herbal notes like bay leaf and thyme. It has a light bit of lemon character towards the middle. The flavors are very good.
Mouthfeel: It has a medium hop bitterness that comes across as burnt herbs. The beer has a slightly refreshing quality to it and a crisp finish. It is very enjoyable to drink.
Overall: As a whole the beer is very enjoyable to drink. It has some pleasant flavors and aromas with an enjoyable texture. I would recommend it and I would buy it again. This would be a good beer to drink for pretty much any occasion but it would be a great choice to pair with a cookout or if you want something to drink while watching a game.
