An Oyster Stout, and a really good one too!! Poured from a 16 oz can into a pint glass, this beer features a dense black color with no light coming through and a big bubbly dark tan/brown head that fades into a medium sized frothy covering. No light gets through when held to a light. Aroma and taste are wonderful. Rich malty taste from the barley and oats. The best part is that it is somewhat briny and has lots of smokiness. I really enjoyed the smoke!! Like Alaskan Smoked Porter - light!! Mouthfeel was rich, malty and smooth. The oats contributed ot its smoothness. The brininess and smoke greatly added to the feel. This is an outstanding brew.
