On tap at brewery
Pours clear golden color with a one finger head with good retention. Smells of piney and citrus hip aroma with some resinous pine and zesty orange. Toasted malt undertone. Tastes of equal parts citrus and pine up front with notes of orange and grapefruit peel. The finish gives more bitter citrus with a toasted malty linger. Medium body with moderate carbonation, foamy finish.

2.5 is being generous. Also tried their Amber. That, too, was rubbish.

Just a solid, if not perfect, example of a west coast IPA.

Pretty damn good IPA from Trustworthy Brewing. It's got an addictive hoppy taste without being overwhelming. I'd say this is a great tasting medium IPA, perfect for a nice afternoon session. I like this one better than any of Verdugo West's other offerings. A close to perfect medium IPA.
