Pours dark coffee brown with nice 1 finger khaki foamy crown in HUGE 24oz glass mug on draught happy hour at brewery. Notes of coffee, malt and bread laced with subtle notes of sweet “campfire marshmallow & brown sugar laced graham” make this a good oatmeal stout. Good local micro from Vegas (Venetian) Trustworthy Brewing Company at 5.3% ABV with a nice 30 IBU bite.

16oz can purchased at the taproom in Las Vegas (Venetian). No dating information found.
Brown colored body. One finger of khaki colored head. After a few minutes the head retreats to a thin cap and ring. Leaves behind some scattered strings and spots of lacing.
Aroma of oat malt and chocolate.
Taste is roasted chocolate malt with some bitterness, but also some sweetness. More sweetness in the aftertaste, but also a minor sour note.
Medium mouth feel, with a smooth texture from the oak malt. Good carbonation.
Rather unrefined, as there is a lack of balance between the sweet and bitter.
