Looks like a big stout, deepest brown with a coffee brown head shrinking quickly to a coffee brown collar.
Smell is strongly characterized by chocolate with notes of raisin and roasted barley.
Taste has a much thinner and pleasantly boozy flavor. The chocolate and raisin notes are still there but the dark roast and sweet grainy booziness of good bourbon are more prominent.
Mouth feel is a little on the thin side but pleasant and full.
Overall this is a very nice ba stout. Nothing fancy or gimmicky, just a nice roasty ba stout that highlights the flavors of.bourbon nicely

A very well done bourbon barrel aged Imperial Stout. Pours basically black, not much head, but let's get to the important stuff. Aromas of dark chocolate and bourbon - hints of vanilla and coconut slip through. Taste mimics the aroma. Feel is slightly warming, average carbonation for the style. Overall, no complaints whatsoever. Tasty, enjoyable and well worth giving a shot. Would love to have more of these around. Particularly as part of a meal.
