Taster at brewery. Black body, collar of beige head. Smoky, ashy aroma. Taste is roast malts, and then the honey kicks in to bring a sweet edge to the roasty bitterness. Campfire notes throughout.

on draft at the brewery in a tulip glass
black in color, opaque, tan head. nice pleasant dark malt and smokey aroma. taste is slightly roasty and smokey, but mild. maybe can pick up the honey flavor too. no hops really. medium bodied, but nice mouthfeel.
