It poured from a pint can into a clear glass Imperial pint mug like Coca-Cola. Darkest of caramel brown colored with a tan short-lived head produced by copious carbonation. There's almost no glass lacing. A smell of vanilla and spices overwhelms any roasted malt. The taste is pleasantly complex. It starts sweet as its name would reference, but there is more. At the finish, roasted malt and even slightly hoppy characteristics carry the taste. All flavors are presented in moderation. This stout is decently smooth, but runs a little light bodied across the tongue. What might have been a sticky disaster turns out to be not so bad at all.

Taster at brewery. Near black pour with silky beige head, solid lacing. Aroma is roast malts first, savory notes second. Taste perfectly matches the cookie flavors, while maintaining a nice roasty chocolate profile. Smooth, tasty, sublime.
