July/August 2020, never heard of this brewery, but really dug all their stuff, this might have been my fave. Surprised I'm adding the beer a year later to the database, like dang, but I'll do a review too bc I'm not a sociopath.
Described as a hazy pale ale, it has a moderate cloudy/haziness to it, light amber in color, 1/2" white head. Cool astronaut dude and logo on the can. The aroma delivers on the Mosaic & El Dorado hop notes. Plenty of tropical and citrus to go around.
Taste drinks lighter than the SRM appearance. The malt bill is pretty neutral, so you continue to get that papaya, weed, blueberry, pineapple, grapefruit, tangelo like taste sensation from the two hop varieties. The mouth feel is nice, has that reduced bitterness, but not to the point of being trub gloop glop water. Smoothness seems to amplify a light sweetness to the hoppy fruity notes. This is a very well made pale ale suited to my sensibilities.
I think this might be the best hoppy thing I've had from PA. Nugget Nectar and this man.
