Notes: Loads of oats and milk sugar give this IPA great mouth feel. Hop blend of Vic Secret, Mosaic and Motueka pair up with this for a super juicy IPA.

Results of emptying a pint can into a clear Imperial pint glass begin with the visual. It's a light and somewhat dull lemon yellow, producing very little head. Rather opaque, fingers behind the glass can barely be distinguished. Although the aroma is not pungent, some citrus like hops can be detected. It tastes just fine, but not spectacularly. There's just enough body and starch to add balance to a moderately hopped ale. Those hops are as the nose predicted, mildly citrusy and not at all astringent. A nice clean finish makes another quaff inviting. No, this isn't a world class brew. If nothing else, it's too one dimensional for that. But this is a very pleasant drinking experience and the four pack purchase was a good one.

L: Pours a nice straw, hazy, yellow
S: this is where this beer shines. Has an intoxicating aroma of hops and vine with citrus twist
T: pretty much follows the nose. Mango and citrus up front with a slightly bitter finish
F: soft. Medium carbonation

Cloudy light banana yellow with two fingers of yellow-tinted head. Good retention, with thick rings of lacing.

White wine, lime, pine and a hint of blueberry in the nose.

Wine and lime show again up front, with a hint of floury doughiness mid-palate and a lightly bitter citrus-and-herbs finish. There’s a hint of berry in there again and maybe some peach skin, too.

Relatively full-bodied and slick feeling with moderate carbonation.

Tasty beverage. The hops are showcased well, and the look and feel are excellent. The slight doughy character brought it down for me just a touch.

-Brewed with Vic Secret, Motueka, & Mosaic. can 06.01.18. Consumed 10.18.18.

A: The palest of lemon-hay coloring occurs on the exit from the bottle that darkens a bit to a beautiful glowing peach-orange in the vessel. Dense clarity with a good rate of carbonation within. Soapy stone white head hold moderately lapsing to a lasting coverage with a minimal splash lace dressing. Juicy bright coloring ensures a outstanding appearance.

S: Sweet malt and citrus, dripping wet, lightly tart grapefruit juice. Wet lemons, stone fruit and bright green melon. Finishes of dried tropical, light orange peel bitterness of good strength and holds well.

T: Loads of sticky pine hop resins blends with a tart tropical nature hopping that was lightly bitter and dry. Bright oranges, tangerines and peach fruitiness brings a lot of flavor while the finish is bready malts and dried tropical citrus and grapefruit peel.

M: Medium full creamy feel, soft biscuit like along with sticky hop resins are juicy and dank like. Good carbonation, bittering tropical fruit bites the tongue with assertion with a finishing dryness that lingers.

O: Outstanding overall, appearance wise was dank and juicy, as well the nose. A tart bittering hoppiness blends flavor and bitterness in balance. Outstanding drinkability, great per style, perfect 7% abv packs a punch of flavor and bitterness with sticky hop resins drenching with sticky goodness enough to satisfy the hardcore ipa fan.

Got in a BIF from zekeman17. 16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 9/28/2018. Pours opaquely hazy golden yellow/green color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky off white head with awesome retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big tangerine, orange juice, grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, blueberry, mint, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of huge tangerine, orange juice, grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, blueberry, mint, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very mild pine, zesty, herbal, floral, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, orange juice, grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, blueberry, mint, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and bready malt flavors; with a solid malt/bitterness balance, and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Slightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/grainy, and slightly sticky/gritty mouthfeel that is fantastic. Minimal warming alcohol for 6.5%. Overall this is a fantastic NEIPA! All around outstanding complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the minimally bitter/drying finish. Amazingly soft feel. Outstanding Vic Secret, Mosaic, Motueka profile. Extremely juicy and lightly dank/earthy hop complexity; perfect wheat/oat/malt balance, not overly sweet from lingering dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and amazingly spot on style example.

Another nice hazy orange thin headed ipa. Nice look actually. A bit understated and wizzy dank nose but nice. Wow, a bit more sweet with a wine like tinge that I like. Otherwise a flavorful IPA. Medium carbonation and a medium/ thick feel.

Canned 6/1/18 (19 days ago)

L - 2-finger offwhite head atop a murky yellow body.

S - orange, grapefruit, pine, pineapple. A great nose.

T - orange mixed with more tropical fruits. Getting more pineapple as it warms. Very smooth middle. Pine with a slight hint of herbalness. Low bitterness, low sweetness, low booziness.

F - medium body with average carb.

O - by far the best beer I’ve had from Urban Village. They struggled at first but this is a comeptitive NE-style IPA.

A hazy New England type IPA with complex hopping (mosaic, motueka and Vic secret, both in the boil and dry). Produced for 1 yr anniversary 6/01/18. IBU not stated but not over the top. Modest aroma but great mouthfeel and good finish.
