This Hazy IPA has a blend of Simcoe, Citra and Amarillo hops with significant late additions that make this beer super juicy with aromas of ripe cantaloupe and flavors of citrus and tropical fruit.

$5/8 oz. on tap at the brewery on 23 August 2025
Look: Very hazy yellow gold body beneath a short head of bright white foam. OK head retention but very good lacing.
Smell: Sweet malt, citrus, and berries.
Taste: Far more tropical than the aroma lets on with notes of orange, pineapple, melon, and guava. Stiffly bitter and dry in the finish with fading fruitiness.
Feel: Medium-light in body and gently crisp.
Overall: While I'm not sure it lives up to its name it is a decent, well-balanced, and highly drinkable NEIPA.

A pint can poured to fill a clear glass Imperial pint mug shows a cloudy amber brew with a stark white head. Thankfully, the head isn't the excessive puffy one now too common. There's some starchy sweetness in the aroma, but it's mostly citrusy hops to smell. It's a good guess that there's oats here, as the mouthfeel is sufficient, but a little sticky. The backbone could use a little more depth because the hops certainly bring some tasty layers. Initially, playing off the sweetness, the hop experience is reminiscent of tropical, then citrus fruit. Then comes the bitter drying out at the finish, likely thanks to the Simcoe hops. There's very little glass lacing to contemplate. Overall, it's a good, not great hop deliverer with a somewhat shortchanged body.

A - Medium gold pour with moderate carbonation that's small bubbled and sprightly. Pours with a big, rocky head that sticks to the glass like glue.
S - Some light sweet malt along with some tropical fruit and citrus.
T - All hops across the entire spectrum with: cataloupe, tropical fruit, citrus, pineapple with a delicate spiciness. Ends with a lingering citrus peel bitterness.
M - Big medium body with gentle carbonation and a dry finish. Leaves a lingering layer of citrus in the mouth.
O - Thios is a really good West Coast style IPA. Dig it.
