From the can, it pours a clear amber with a large thick ivory colored head that slowly diminishes as you watch. Nose gets some caramel and bread. Mouth gets a bit of bitterness and malt. Interesting!

For the style this may be great, I'm not sure, but I prefer their Clean Slate IPA, and DDH Bird Bath, which were great and I'd buy again.

Tawny Twit has a thick, ivory head, a mostly clear, chestnut appearance, with lots of bubbles & glass lacing. A descending gray cloud is evidenced, after the "swish & pour". Aroma is of sweet caramel & spiced bread crust. Flavor is of the same, with mellow bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium and velvety, and Tawny Twit finishes mostly dry.

Draught @ Brewery: This one pours a fairly clear brown color. Decent tan head that leaves some lacing. Good nose. Earthy, grassy, biscuity malts. Good taste. Mild bitterness, biscuit, decent body. A good ESB.

A: Medium brown in color with a tan half finger head that settled quickly. Decent lacing.
S: Biscuit-y malts, light chocolate, light grassy hops.
T: The bitter hits you like it's supposed to with caramel and chocolate backing it up. Let it warm and the bitterness fades to a more palatable taste. Light hops backing it up.
M: Medium with medium, creamy carbonation.
O: As my fellow drinker said, it's a decent English bitter. Not my favorite style, but it does the job.
