This beer took their normal Scops Scotch ale to a whole new level. That beer tastes predominately of light toasted coffee. This beer has depths. Dark fruit is front and center. Notes of vanilla and sherry, I am not sure what barrel this was put in but it should be done again and again. Carbonation is not a lot but it fits the style. This is the second day in the row I got this if it tells you anything. They sell it in 8 oz glasses which is sort of enough and not near enough at the same time.
