On draught at the brewery.
A dark pour with amber hues, a thin head and curtain lacing initially, that goes to slippery splotches.
Earthy barley malt, nicely caramelized, but not too sweet. Mild semisweet chocolate and vanilla notes. The hops profile lends more bitterness than flavor, and does a decent job of keeping a balance at 45 IBUs.
Barrel aging aspects are fairly subtle, but enjoyable.
An enjoyable Breakfast Stout that’s well done, NOT overdone.

16oz can into a tall glass. No freshness dating, but proclaims "keep cold, drink fresh"
Jet black body, small tan head, a little lacing. Aroma is muted, malty. On tasting, a nice initial coffee note with some sweetness. Medium bodied. The finish is a pleasing long lasting roast, not too bitter.
Overall, nice stout, gets better as it warms.
