Pours dark purple, with some fine foam that quickly dissolves.
Smell is a bit tart and full of blackberries, raspberries and blueberries.
Taste goes along with the same berries as the smell, and adds some youghurt and a bit of funky horse blanket.
Mouthfeel is medium and creamy, well carboated.
Overall, a very nice Berliner, that's funkier than ususal for the style.

Beautiful looking beer - hazy, turbid cranberry/burgundy appearance with a fast breaking head. Smells like ricotta cheese and blackberries. Taste is tart blackberry and lemon rind. Very refreshing. Feel is on the light side. UA seems to have nailed this style as this rates right up there with Florida Weisse. Wish I was drinking this in 80 degree weather versus the current single digit temps - minor quibble though. Worth seeking out anytime of the year.

Poured 12oz bottle into a flute glass. Color is very deep mauve with a 2 finger fizzy light purple head that leaves some spotty lacing on my glass. Aroma is very heavy with berry notes, specifically blackberry, and hints of lemon. Flavor really hits with ripe jammy blackberries and finishes with tart lemon. Feel is light bodied with prickly carbonation, quite refreshing. Another very flavorful Weisse from AU/FB.
