A - Pours a golden orange, with slight red tint, and a white head in the pour, and minimal lacing.
S - Silky barrel, floral notes, a hint of medicinal scotch, and strong pungent alcohol.
T - Core is tea and vanilla, wood notes, strong honeyed finish.
M - Very clean and refreshing for its ABV, subtle and integrated, with just a hint of warmth in the finish.
O - So this sat in the back for a couple years, getting age, and it appears to have improved with the time. Pretty tasty, and one of the more pleasant barleywines I've consumed.

My first time trying Jackie O and can't wait to have it again. My
attempt to find it in bottles is not going well but my local sports bar has it on tap.
Not as heavy as other barley wines but one sip and I was hooked. Great flavor, easy drinking and a nice finish
i sent a link to my beer friends and told them to try to find it, There are not a lot of barley wines down here in
SWFL so this a pleasant surprise.

12 ounce bottle - $4.99 at Sprayberry Bottle Shop in Marietta, Georgia.
Appearance: Pours an amber-tan body filled with fine particulates. Smallish head, bone white and fairly brief in its existence.
Smell: Toasted breadcrusts given a generous sprinkling of light brown sugar, finely ground nuts, fruity beats of alcohol-soaked fig, orange segments, strawberries and golden raisins. Its aroma takes on that fruit cake drenched in grandma's heavy-handed liquor drizzle kinda thing.
Taste: A big burst of sugary sweetness, and while it has a slight caramelized, brown sugar vibe to it, but more akin to a shot of simple syrup. Slight tanninc sensation. What follows is a bright fruitiness with some citrusy touches. Here is where the creamy lactose shows for me in the flavor, mingled amongst the fruitiness. Amidst the maltiness, it sometimes take on a marshmallow quality. Its fruitiness is maintained through the warming, belly-heating finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-full body. Medium-light carbonation. Quite heated.
Overall: A decent BW.

Really liked their barley wine from last year... but this one is the most disappointing brew I've had from untitled art so far...

S: Sweet tea, cherry cough medicine, caramel malt, herbal tea, marzipan, sweet, fruit cake
T: Oxidation, sweet lactose, nutty, light raisin, sweet tea, earthy herbal hop, only a hint of alcohol
