16 oz. Can
Canned On: 02/05/19

Poured into a Tree House glass a very nice translucent dark orangy color, very nice carbonation, with a very nice thick/creamy two-finger off-white head, which also leaves some nice small islands, and some very nice creamy sticky lacing behind. The nose is malty, with a pretty nice chocolate/toffee note, vanilla, coconut cream pie. The taste is very nice, malty, with a pretty nice touch of chocolate/toffee, really nice vanilla sweetness, very nice touch of coconut cream pie. Full Body, ABV hidden very nicely, with a nice little dry/bitter finish. This is very drinkable at the ABV. Overall, this is a very tasty brew. Glad to see it around here.

Look: golden brown

Smell: very citrus-y and very strong on alcohol, almost like nail polish remover

Taste: like a piƱa colada, with a creamy, cake-y background

Feel: smooth and creamy, not sticky, medium-bodied, light on carbonation

Overall: this tastes exactly as you would expect a "coconut cream pie blonde stout" to taste; definitely not an everyday drink, but it's fun and interesting

Aroma - Nose is coconut, pineapple, vanilla, caramel, some pie crust and grains.

Taste - taste is really sweet kills the coconut cream pie flavors. Tons of coconut, caramel, pecans, pie crust, pineapple really nice.

Feel - Medium bodied soft carbonation no sign of the alcohol

Overall - Spot on what they say it is, sweet coconut cream pie.

There is something about these UAs I just gravitate too, and this one is no different...

Great looking beer - a unique dark, reddish-orange tinge that simply looks appealing to the eyes. The smell is full of coconut, pineapple, and malt - all beautifully blended. Mouthfeel, though carbonated, is crisp and full-bodied. The taste is full of coconut flavoring as well with a healthy note of booze, it sure does slow you down (thankfully) from just drinking this down like a sweet drink. Overall, a great beer, not a dessert beer at 10% ABV, but still a great brew to share and impress with.

At the intersection of "what could possibly be next" and "beer has no limits" is where the collaborative mindsets of Untitled Art and Crooked Stave converge when they conjure up a stout that is both imperial and blonde and then layered with the taste of coconut cream pie for extra measure.

Simply named Coconut Cream Pie Blonde Stout, any cease and diciest letters are kept at bay while the ale pours a deep golden color that's a few shades darker than blonde. Its creamy eggshell froth immediately begins to expel a brooding scent of caramel, vanilla, heavy cream, mild coffee and cocoa. Very sweet on the palate, the cream soda flavors are amplified with a marshmallowy taste and texture.

As the ale rolls along the middle palate, the mild roast of stout comes out with a coffee and cream character along with white chocolate and a hint of toasted honey. Nutty with cashew, the beer once again picks up on those intense caramel, vanilla, condensed milk and toasted coconut flavors that are somewhat of coconut cream pie but also of candy corn, circus peanuts and vanilla cream soda for a legitimate risk of a diabetic shock.

Full bodied and cloyingly sweet, the beer's persistence at keeping its sweet creaminess front and center never allows the more stout-like properties to emerge. A hint of roast, mild hop bitterness and a bold hit of white lightening for a finish that's simply difficult for the palate at both the malty sweet standpoint and the spicy dryness finishing point as well.

Presentation: 16 oz. can with the canning date printed on the bottom. Served in a goblet.

Appearance: The dense, one and a half finger head stays around for a little bit and then goes down into a thin foam layer that stays until the end. It leaves behind a lot of patchy lacing that covers the entire glass. It's a murky, amber color.

Smell: It's a very sweet and earthy scent of fresh coconut, heavy cream, refined sugar, pie crust, hay and grains.

Taste: It's sweet and creamy with a strong coconut flavor and notes of brown sugar, whipped cream, and buttery pie crust.

Mouthfeel: It's silky smooth, creamy and medium bodied with low carbonation. It's very easy to drink and not cloying at all despite the heavy sweetness which is impressive.

Overall: It definitely delivers on the coconut, cream and pie aromas and flavors. A very good beer that everyone with a sweet tooth will love that's dangerously easy to drink at a quite hefty 10% ABV.
