12 oz can from Tavour. Black, flat pour. Aroma is roasty with a sweet back end, marshmallow. Taste starts with vanilla and marshmallow, turns roasty and then gets warm with some boozy notes. Not overly sweet.

Poured from a can. Very dark brown, almost black. Roasty aromas, bourbon vanilla, earthy dutch cocoa and sticky tree fruit notes, sweet and heady. Tastes rich and heavy, full-bodied, chocolatey and boozy. Chewy tootsie rolls, marshmallow notes, salmiakki, hints of syrupy molasses, and a relatively clean finish; minor mineral notes. A big beer.

Pours very dark brown and forms a pinky width of caramel colored bubbles that slowly disappear and settle into an outer ring attached to the glass.
The nose carries a thick, gooey, melting marshmallow with a faint booze and notes of chocolate behind it.
The taste brings a nice vanilla marshmallow as well. Faint espresso, might not even notice it if not mentioned. It’s more like a roastiness.
Mouthfeel is medium + bodied and coats the mouth. Slight roastiness, slight booziness, very slight bitterness.
Overall, this is a enjoyable stout that did deliver on marshmallow aspects but didn’t overwhelm.
