A: Pours a murky pale to medium bright yellow in color with moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising along the edges of the glass and moderate pale golden yellow + lemon yellow colored highlights. The beer has a two finger tall dense sudsy foamy white head that slowly reduces to a medium sized patch of medium thick film surrounded by a large patch of very thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Slightly stronger than moderate aromas of earthy, spicy, citrus/grapefruit pith, and grassy hops over the top of light to moderate aromas of bready + oat + caramel malts with a light to moderate amount of caramel sweetness.
T: Upfront there are just shy of moderate flavors of bready + oat + caramel malts with a light to moderate amount of caramel sweetness. That is followed by moderate to strong flavors of earthy, spicy, citrus/grapefruit pith, and grassy hops which impart minimal amounts of bitterness and leave a light to moderate lingering earthy + citrus/grapefruit pith hop flavors.
M: Light to medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Moderate amounts of soft/fluffiness mid-body with a hint of dryness in the finish.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and a pleasantly soft/fluffy mouthfeel. Enjoyable and does a nice job of highlighting the Southern Passion hop.
