Jesus Christ. If you want an artificial flavor of Mandarin with a side of sugar cubes this beer is for you. Sticky, cloying and gross. Couldn't get past 8 ounces. Yuck.

Bought sometime in November when my favorite beer store owner sent me a picture with a couple of Untitled Art beers. I told him “give me everything of theirs.” Now I regret buying the Dragonfruit sour IPA, and I like the Florida Berliner Weisse, but this one is the best of the bunch. I gave up on milkshake IPAs, especially New England style milkshake IPAs, but I’ll admit this one is pretty good. It says “natural flavors”, so if I give them the benefit of the doubt, there is plenty of tangy orange and sweet vanilla that mix extremely well and really give it that creamsicle taste. It’s very clean, very crisp, very easy to drink, which is tough for a style that sometimes is too sweet and heavy to me. Maybe aging it a bit helps. I’ll still be more leery of New England milkshake IPAs and I won’t buy everything Untitled Arts makes without thinking carefully about it (especially if it’s a sour IPA), but this one is another example of Untitled Art’s prowess.

Bright yellowish orange with a white cap and lacing. Peach, tons of mandarin orange, slight hops, vanilla, and lactose, with a hint of tangerine in there too in both the smell and taste. No nuance at all, but really hits the flavors well. Sweet and frothy, leaving the teeth coated in sugar. Whimsical

Taking the haze to the smoothie side of beer making, Untitled Art teams up with The Brewing Projekt to create a beer that blurs the lines between beer and health food.

In what will likely deliver us from scurvy, Mandarin Dream Milkshake IPA pours with an oddly expected matte orange pour that's laces with goldenrod hues and silt. As a creamy meringue builds, a luxurious scent of radiant citronella couples with vanilla, cream and light herbs for a fruity, pleasant vegetal and doughy scent. Pastry sweet to start, the early palate is chocked full of agave, orange soda and creamsicle.

A full saturation of creamy orange extends across the middle palate, its influence of tangerine, mandarin orange, blood orange and tangelo is unrelenting. Hints of peach, mango and apricot pull from the orange while hints of pineapple nearly want a tropical fruit presence to be tasted. As an herbal bitterness tightens the taste as the flavors near finish, nuances of verbena, fruit teas and chive create a bright and racy balance to close.

Medium full on the palate, the nearly imperial status of the ale has it carrying a cereal-laden bulk to keep the session full, rounded and smooth. Malty-dry in finish, the alcohol and hops extend into a medium long aftertaste of gin botanicals and a light drift of hemp.

Don't have a lot of experience with NEIPA's but I enjoyed this a lot.
Pours a hazy light golden color. Forms a small white head that quickly becomes a thin lace.
Very strong citrus aroma.
Tastes like the can suggests. A lot of orange cream flavor up front followed but a nice bitterness from the hops. Pretty solid beer

Can. White head with some lace. Mango orange color.

A lot of Mandarin orange flavor. Almost artificial. Lactose and vanilla creaminess. A lot of citrus. Orange and mango. Pretty solid, but boarderline fake.
