Coming in to this beer I am frankly not sure what to expect. I absolutely love 2nd Shift's Technical Ecstasy ... but the only pilsner I've had from Untitled Art (their South African pilsner) I did not like. Lets see how this one is ...
Pours a cloudy, hazy golden color - but I can't tell if its just chill haze or something else. As it sits, it starts to clear up, but never completely. Thin velvety white head dissipates steadily, but not completely. The glass is coated in white lacing as the beer is consumed.
Aroma has notes of grassy hops with notes of lemon, white grape, and a herbal grassiness. Not much of a malt base comes through on the nose.
Taste follows the nose with a nice cracker malt backbone on which the hops just absolutely shine. Notes of lemon, lemon grass, straw, white grape and apple provide a modernly fruity, but most herbal and grassy profile. Moderate bitterness builds to a crescendo on the finish before abruptly dropping off.
Feel is light, crisp, super vibrantly carbonated. Semi-dry on the finish.
Overall this was a grand slam for me. Its got a great cracker malt base and the hops just absolutely go so well in the pilsner style. I would drink the heck out of this if I could get it regularly.

Poured from 12oz can into a tulip. Canned 2/10/20; this is a collaboration with 2nd Shift in St. Louis.
Appearance: light yellow-orange hue with a thin layer of frothy white foam atop.
Smell: herbal, grassy hops atop a lightly sweet, but clean, malt base. I like the effect -- it maintains the cleanliness of a pilsner but ups the hop content. I dig it.
Taste: hops are grassy and herbal, like in the aroma, although I think the flavor is just a little less successful than the aroma. It's got a decently malty pilsner base; it's perhaps not quite good as the small, but still it's pretty darn good.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good level of carbonation and a surprisingly good creaminess for a pilsner. It works for me!
Overall: this is an interesting and refreshing beer. It's got enough good German pilsner character to work for the style, and it's just exotic enough from the NZ hops. Good stuff!

Look - Nice slightly hazy gold color, head had decent retention with some fluffiness and fairly large bubbles.
Smell - Fresh cut grass, highly aromatic.
Taste/Mouthfeel - Soft mouthfeel, slight bitterness on the palate. Piney and grassy, notes of lemon zest. Aftertaste fades out smoothly.
Overall - Tasty, crisp, highly aromatic. Perhaps not a traditional pilsner, but nonetheless flavorful and delicate.

Pours into a pilsner a true light golden with a blooming bone white head, nice tiny bubbles.Grassy and vegetal in the nose, almost like a garden at the height of summer, really nice.Toasted grains with a mix of leafy/herbal hops, like a north German pilsner with it's herbal smack. Can't think of to many beers I would wanna have while grilling in the heat.Substance to this pils, love it.

Can. White pillow top head. Lace. Clear golden color. I was a little shocked at the price tag on this one $5 for a single, but this is a quality pils with some nice hops. Definitely has the quality and feel of a good German pils. Bready and biscuity malts. Grassy, floral, earthy hops. A bit of zest and citrus. Hints of herbal notes. Very flavorful.

Pours a clear yellow color with a thin foamy head. Pilsner like aroma. Floral. Typical pilsner taste. Refreshing for a hot summer day.
