Untitled Art Sweet & Sour Grapefruit IPA has a thin, crackly, spongy, white head, and an opaque, orange appearance with no lacing. The aroma is of faint juice and pale malt. The flavor is of strong tartness and sweet juice, with a malt (white bread) underbody. The reviewer will notice low bitterness. Untitled Art Sweet & Sour Grapefruit IPA has a high-medium body and a dry finish.

L: An orange murk, with thin head fades quickly to a ring in the glass.

S: Big on the grapefruit juice but you can pick out about a third pineapple that melds in nicely. To me this smells great, but more like a carbonated juice than beer at all.

T: Following the nose, with a touch of hops. The apple acts mostly as a sweetener like in many juice cocktails.

F: Right about where you’d expect of the listed juices. Some tartness and a touch of dryness on the finish. Plenty of carbonation. Just right I’d say.

O: I loved it, but even less than most fruited sours do I find beer here. If you love grapefruit this is still for you!

Pours a very murky basically orange juice color with a white head that dissipates after a minute. It smells like grapefruit juice with hints of tropical flavors from the pineapple, but no over the top hop aromas come forward as I was expecting. The taste is almost like soda. It's slightly sour and slightly sweet with a nice grapefruity bitter finish. It's not exactly an ipa in my experience, but more of a fruit beer, and it's a very good one. This one is dangerously smooth at 7% alcohol. I could drink this all day.

16oz can almost exactly 2 months old

Pours up a murky orange, little ring of foam, not much light penetrates. It smells of the listed fruits with a touch of hop funk. Bitter grapefruit rind comes to mind while discussing the flavor of this very sweet fruit beer. There isn't much to the IPA part, it is mostly sweet fruit juice, with just a kiss of the bitter fruit rind, and almost flavorless hops.

Kinda disappointed in this one. It is still delicious (one of the people tasting said it's like alcoholic Orange Julius, and that's a dead-on characterization), but I expect a lot out of these beers: both because of the prestige of the brewery and the price-point

L-Frosty pale orange with not much visible carbonation. Interesting color but a little lifeless looking.
S-An immediate pop of grape fruit, blood orange, tangerine, pineapple and mango. There's a nice bit of funk at the end too and almost something spicy
T-Wow. Very, very sweet and tropical flavors immediately with a sou, almost candied fruit flavor. Grapefruit and orange are very prominent up front followed by pineapple, mango and light apple. Bitter and almost spicy at the end.
F-Thick juicy body with enough carbonation to give a the wonderful flavor some life and pop.
O-This beer has no reason to be this flavorful. One of the sweetest, most rewarding beers in terms of sheer flavor. Not only is it candy-like in flavor, it is very complex. Never had anything like it, can't wait to have this again and try others from this brewery.

Another chapter in the sweet and sour IPA series from Untitled Art. This time grapefruit is the star. It is sweet up front and sour on the back. It is very similar to the orange version but has a beautiful peach color. The beer reminds me of those gummy grapefruit slices you used to get at the candy store.

16 oz. Can
Canned: 10/27/20

Poured into a Trillium glass a pretty nice cloudy dark pale orange color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger plus off-white head, which also leaves some pretty nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, mango, peach, apple), tart, pretty nice little diesel like. The taste is very nice hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, mango, peach, apple), tart, pretty nice little diesel like, very nice sweetness. Medium body, ABV hidden very nicely, with a nice little dry/bitter finish. Overall, this is a pretty tasty brew. Orange Julius! Addictive! MilkShake! Nice to see it around here. Can't believe I'm the first to review this beer.
