Never had a New Zealand IPA even if it’s made in Wisconsin Lol, let’s give er a try. Nice super hazy orange juice look with a thin white head, looks great. Holy smoke this smells like a New England citrus juice bomb if not a bit under stated. Good citrus flavor, not too sweet, kinda grapefruit pithy bitter but not too harsh. Interesting malt back slightly mineral beer in nature. Not creamy but leaning that way with enough carbonation. A tad more sweetness would make this twice as good but hey, a solid brew here.

A: The beer is very hazy pale yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that quickly settled down, leaving just a thin ring of bubbles around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of herbs, kumquat, lime and stone fruit are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell except that the herbs and kumquat flavors seem to be a bit stronger. There is a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and a bit juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is easy to drink and does a good job at showcasing hops from the Southern Hemisphere.

D: Nice combination of New Zealand hops. Well crafted brew.

Wow, this is dry! I'm lovin' the Saharan NE IPAs...
Cannes 3/2/21
I like the hop notes that here, just wish there was a bit more punch. Zesty, fresh citrus, some tropical fruit, and a biting, dank finish. Dial all that up 15% and this would be amazing The malt base is bready and a bit mineraly.
Good stuff, recommended.

Big frothy head from the pour with decent retention and lacing. Body is a shade darker than lemon yellow, but completely opaque.
Very bright citrus-forward aroma, along with bright herbs and minor dankness. Really bright (if you didn't get that already), fresh, and lovely.
Similar flavor: bright, lightly herbal, and citrus-forward. More citrus than tropical fruit by a mile. Malt base is slightly grainy and pale-heavy. It's not really reinventing the wheel, but it's very well executed. A bit dry.
