A: pours up a slightly murky straw gold with a soapy, three-finger head medium to low head retention and only slightly lacing.
S: Immediate aromas of grapefruit and pine, dominate the nose, not much else seems to be present.
T: quite sweet and grainy, with the grapefruit and pine notes coming through more subtly in the finish (I’m guessing though dry-hopped addition). There is a slight, pleasant tartness here, and a bitterness so subtle in the finish that you could blink and miss it.
M: Full bodied for a Pilsner, but with adequate carbonation.
O: This is not a bad beer, but it is not to style. I’m certainly open to people expanding the possibilities of what a beer style can be, but I think within that, you cannot forget what makes the style you are working within enjoyable. This beer has forgotten what makes a Pilsner work. I get the sense that this beer attempts to take a “New England” approach to hopping the beer, and while I get that, and I’m not against it in theory, in practice you’ve created a beer that, contrary to the name, is anything but crisp, and; let’s be fair, if there’s anything a Pilsner should be it is crisp. I would have have called this an average American Pilsner but the mouthfeel ruins what is good here. Don’t get me wrong, this beer is fine, it’s totally drinkable and your average person wouldn’t find anything remarkably good or bad about this beer. Unfortunately I have the benefit of having had some truly exceptional American Lagers, but loyal to the style and a bit more out there, and this is neither.

Foggy yet extremely pale yellow with faint hues of seafoam green, the soft white head unevenly dies down to a thin film.
This is...kind of flavorless. Like almost entirely. There's maybe a little hint of cracker and some accents of floral hops, but barely.
I almost have more words for the airy, fluffy but light body that finishes bone dry.
This liquid is a waste of calories tbh. What's there isn't even enticing. I'd rather have a Miller Lite. Or *gasp* a seltzer.

12 oz. Can
Canned On: 03/31/21
Poured into a Trillium glass a pretty nice clean/clear pale golden yellow color, with some pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger plus white head, which also leaves some pretty nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is malty, hoppy, with a nice citrus complex (lemon, lime, tangerine), bready. The taste is nice, malty, hoppy, with a nice citrus complex (lemon, lime, tangerine), bready. Medium body, ABV is hidden very nicely, with a little dry/bitter finish. Overall, a tasty brew. A nice thirst quencher. Nice to see it around.
