Look: Looks like black coffee with a caramel foam head. The head dissipated fairly quickly leaving a microscopic ring around the glass. Lace is heavy and contains a small amount of bubbles.
Smell and Taste: Resembles a chocolate sheet or a Cocoa Cola cake. The sweetness is of the chart, way off the chart.
Feel: Thick and chewy. Carbonation is in Klingon Cloak mode. It's almost like it's not there.
Overall: Well! I had a cough before I took my first sip and now it's gone. I'm gonna try to finish it but 1/4 the way inn I'm not to share I will be able to.

From the 12 oz can in a snifter via Bottle Lodge. This intense brew pours a
rich obsidian with dark brown highlights and a decent head of off white foam that
settles to a thick ring, thin dusty layer, and sports some light lacing. Nose of vanilla,
deep roasted coffee, cinnamon, dark bakers chocolate, and moderate char. Flavors
surpass the nose nicely with layer of dark rich coffee (espresso) vanilla, cream, dark cocoa,
faint tobacco, moderate char / Brûlée, and subtle dark fruits of black and raspberry as well as
touches of sweet cherry. Nice mouth feel; full body, smooth, rich coating, low
soft carbonation, and a moderately cloying sweet espresso / vanilla finish .
Overall, an excellent dessert brew from an excellent brewery!
Cheers
