I haven't had this beer in several years but consumed a lot of it when it was in production. This is the best beer I have ever tasted. I could not get enough of it. The body was thick, it contained a proper amount of sediment that was indulgently delicious, and the scent was heavenly. The flavor of maple and blueberry combined with the sediment was an experience that I am sad I can no longer replicate. No other beer of similar profiles has come close. Everything I have tried is a poor copy that fails to hit the mark.
I bought out every store that I could find in my surrounding cities that had this beer and had 1 or 2 every day until they were gone. I gave one to my dad to try and he said "buy every one of these you can". This initially surprised me because he's never really been a beer guy except for Wild Blue which has since been discontinued MUCH to his dismay. I contacted Untitled Art directly about finding this beer and was told it was basically out across the country and they likely wouldn't be making it again. I had considered making the drive to the last stores that had this beer to buy them out but ultimately decided the 1,000 mile round trip for beer was not something I had the time to do with work. Unfortunately they wouldn't ship to Ohio either.
If anyone from Untitled Art reads this, please make this beer again. I will pay whatever premium prices it takes to have more of this beer in my life. Plus, my pops wants some too.

Tricky mixing the fruit into a stout without it feeling like oil and water, but this one pulls it off. I’m a big Untitled Art fan, and this is one of my favorites.

Pours very dark brown, nearly black, thick with a modest head that leaves no trace. Aroma is maple syrup, blueberry and a hint of chocolate. Taste is blueberry forward with maple and chocolate swirling about. The sweetness and berry flavors seem married and swirl together. A definite impression of blueberry maple pancakes is received. Another knock out of the park for Untitled!

Aroma is blueberry/chocolate chip, dark malts and milk sugar. The flavor is blueberry/chocolate chip, milk sugar, dark malts and a maple syrup sweet/bitter/acidic finish.

Brew: Untitled Art - Black & Blue Chocolate Chip Pancake Stout
Intro: 12 oz. poured into a tulip glass. Had on tap. Shared with a friend.
Appearance: Pitch black, Moderate head maybe 1.25 inches. Moderate lacing as I drank
Smell: Equal balance of black and blue berries, in the background was a mixture of chocolate, vanilla, and maple syrup.
Taste: Followed the smell. Well balanced, sweet and very tasty. Very enjoyable.
Mouthfeel: Smooth to medium full mouthfeel, medium carbonation.
Drink: Easy drinking. Very enjoyable
Conclusion: I tend to shy away from tart berry stouts but this was very enjoyable. Will definitely keep my eyes out for more in a bottle shop.

Look: Poured looking almost like milk chocolate from a 12oz. can with a medium tan head that quickly dispersed to a very thin ring around the edge and wispy foam clouds in the center. Nice lingering foamy lace.
Smell and Taste: Well defined in the ingredients listed on the can. Dominance is on order also. Quite sweet, as most of the beers from Untitled Art seem to be.
Feel: Sticky and Oily.
Overall: Obviously I have to score it a 4.

Surprisingly good. Lately, their releases have been a bit too much on one thing or the other, but this one drank well. The taste is still on the desert, sweet side but it wasn't unpleasant. Good after dinner beer but not something you'd just crack open with a burger for sure.

Some flavored stouts have subtle nuances, others have bolder flavor additions. And then you have Untitled Art's version of Imperial Stout with blackberry, blueberry, chocolate, maple and milk sugars that's completely absurd.
Black&Blue Chocolate Chip Pancake Stout plops into the snifter with a very dark brown, shy-of-black appearance. As a dainty creme swirls, the nose is awaken by sultry, savory sweetness of maple, chocolate and berry that leaves anything stout-like in its wake. Slathering the tongue with malt sweetness, a dessert-like upstart is rich with maple, condensed cream, chocolate, molasses and maple.
As the ale rolls along the middle palate, its sweetness intensifies as the malt and sugar addition seep deeply into each and every tastebud, showering them with decadence. The impressions of maple and chocolate are overt and strong while the background of dark berries take a secondary role with a robust but slightly tart balance. With virtually no bitterness, the flavors conclude with a kahlua-like spice with chocolate and maple providing a fat malt finish in cloying fashion.
Full bodied, plush with sugar and simply sweet from beginning to end, the beer is delicious but is far too difficult to drink. Even the most staunch sweet tooth will cringe at the unresolved sugars in this beer. Its a diabetic shock just waiting to happen as its balance desperately needs more roast, char or woodsy bitterness to allow for better palatability.
