Out of the dole whip inspired sours out there, this is 2nd place for me. It leans more on a natural pineapple taste and aroma but what really pushes the "dole whip" vibe for me with this sour is the mouthfeel, very fluffy and smooth without being a smoothie sour. Pineapple flavored beers to me are really hard to execute because they can easily be not pineapple-y enough that it tastes like a weird cider or too pineapple-y that it's cloying and borderline sickeningly sweet. This version gets the ratio just right, it's just there's one other beer out there that takes it to the next level.
