Laughable pineapple-puree-like pour of cascading, opaque yellow yields a giant yellow head as well. Massive nose of tart, sugary-sweet fruit and candy on the nose...mango of course, peach, sweet limoncello, vanilla soft serve, dreamsicle, sugary for sure, no bitterness, quite the dessert drink. Fluffy, full-bodied...
I've said this for a year now, these are not beer. But they ARE tasty.

i have so many questions, this is truly weird stuff, and i think its a little misleading, the second such not totally forthright thing from these guys in back to back beers, whats the deal? this is grain free it looks like, not just gluten free, made from "alcohol from sugar" which i assume means there is no mash, and maybe also part of why this has normal nutrition info on it while beer, and their beer, generally does not. also made with vanilla soft serve, a bunch of other things not normally found in beer, and it seems kind of weird to me that great notion would put their name on it as a collaboration, i know they do a lot of flavored stuff, but this seems past gimmicky to an almost dishonest level. all that being as it is, i wanted to hate this, but the truth is that it tastes delicious. we call a lot of flavored beers not a beer, but this actually isnt, some kind of smoothie seltzer thing, not even sure it belongs on this website. the color of this is like nothing i have ever seen, its yellow as a dandelion, looks chalky and almost turmeric stained, and the head is thick and pillowy and lasting, almost ice cream float style, but it never melts, this whole congealed head thing is left in our glasses when the liquid is gone, never seen anything like it. the flavor is sweet, but its good, mango for sure, a starchy mochi vibe too seems there, and there is enough tang that it doesnt set up too diabetic, its delicious, definite vanilla and even vanilla ice cream specifically to me, wild. its almost grain-like in the sense that there is a lot of body here, it seems at least somewhat artificially flavored, and very much desserty even if the residual sugar isnt insane, no denying its good, and this is certainly a new style of modern alcoholic beverage, but i definitely dont want a second one, and i definitely wouldnt call it beer. not sure why they arent more direct about that this is and isnt, as a brewery clearly trying to carve out a premium space for itself, this feels a little below board. that said, its yummy and weird and i can see this doing very well for them. cool that its gluten free, but its not beer from what i can gather...

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
