Showing the IPA world something that many thought were unattainable- making a hazy IPA with dry and drinkable finish. Chocked full of a double dose of Citra, Centennial and Nelson Sauvin hops gives a juicier taste that's expected from the haze but also a resinous dryness that classic IPA enjoy.
Untitled Art first teases the nose with a radiant fruit cocktail of citrus, tropical, berry and vinous fruits. Rounded out with peppery herb scent, hints of hemp balance the fruit. But as their Double Dry Hopped Hazy IPA layers on the early palate, there's a plump sweetness of shortcake, honey and light caramel that provides a buffer from the hop flavors to come.
And that hop onslaught comes as the ale washes the middle palate with sticky hop oils and their strong impressions of red grapefruit, mandarin orange, mango, papaya, passionfruit, white grape and dried pineapple. The beer's linger of sweetness serves to keep the fruity hop impressions plump, juicy and with a branch-ripe freshness. Trending crisply bitter, drying and pleasantly sharp, the late palate shows remarkable dryness and drinkability.
Full bodied but finishing on a dry note, the malty-dry ale certainly favors the bitterness, herbal hop nature, grassy flavors and peppery pine resins for a level of refreshment rarely seen in the hazy forms. A long aftertaste that favors sprucy and citrusy bitterness is sure to delight the old school hop heads while juicy enough to keep contemporary hop lovers flooding into the bar.
