Classic dark stouty liquid. Short head but I had to to fit it in the glass. sticky lace fingers the cling to the sides.
Smells and Tastes of, yep, you guessed it, Maple and Coffee. Super sweet.
Dropped the overall score down a notch due to the over the top sweetness. This is a desert beer.

16oz can poured into a tulip

A- pours jet black in color with a one-finger foamy khaki head that reduces to a thin head that lasts forever

S- aroma is pure maple and coffee; rich espresso mixes with a maple aroma that jumps from the glass, giving reminiscent notes of pancakes and butterscotch morsels. Undertones of butter toffee, mocha swirl, milk chocolate, charred ,alt & roasted peanuts. Wow

T- sweet chocolate and bold maple up front mix with notes of vanilla cream, mid-palate brings out the coffee, providing espresso-like flavors with mocha intertwined. The finish is malty and sweet with notes of vanilla bean, chocolate, maple and coffee all sticking around on the linger

M- medium body with moderate carbonation leads to a creamy mouthfeel that continues into a silky and velvety finish

O- breakfast in a glass, would love to try a BA version of this one

Purchased single can at Bottle Theory in Elmhurst, IL. Poured into a stemless tulip. Pours a muddy brown; tan head lingers on the edges of the glass plus a sandbar in the middle. Nose isn't very strong; maple syrup is most detectable. Taste is maple syrup and vanilla-edged cola. Slight pecan nuttiness. Alcohol is very well hidden. In fact, I later put a dropper of Evan Williams on my tongue just to see if that could cut through the sugar and unearth more notes, but that didn't work. Some roast lurks underneath, but the sugars are too powerful. Bitter coffee grounds on the back end. Feel is light, almost fizzy, with some oil on the finish. Glad I tried it, but I won't be completing the 4-pack.

Taking a scene right out of Denny's playbook, Untitled Art gets down to breakfast with a coffee and maple loaded pastry stout that's as welcomed as a nightcap as it is the breakfast table.

Jet black and pouring with a cake batter consistency, the light froth captures a host of dark roast coffee and sweet maple aromas to suggest pancakes and mocha with a sweet char in tow. As the first sip looms, the heavy and booze soaked sugars of maple, molasses, brown sugar and toffee all come together like peanut brittle.

And as the bolder, more robust and roasty taste of coffee come into play, the middle palate is heavy with burnt toast, char, light campfire and roasted nuttiness. All wrapped in those persistent maple syrup flavors and the flavors align in a nearly perfect coffee to maple balance. More bitter than expected, the late taste seems of the bitterness associated with highly roasted coffee stepping into a long and unrelenting bittersweetness.

Full, plush and velvety, the stout finishes sweet and creamy but with a relaxed coffee sensibility. Lingering with maple the session isn't leaving Denny's anytime soon.
