One of the better black lagers I have had to date. Beautifully black with frothy head, and the smell is bready and full of black currant. Mouthfeel is light-bodied and smooth, so very smooth it is exceptional. The taste follows along with what meets your nose making this a unique black lager.

"Best by 8/22/25"; drank 5/10/24 (they really think this beer will age well!).
Mostly opaque dark brown/orange appearance.
A rough pour yielded a HUGE tan head; a thick curtain of lace remained.
Fresh earth, mild curdled cream & faint burnt caramel notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Fresh earth & curdled cream flavors up front; faint burnt caramel notes on the finish.
It's a bit off, but still drinkable.
