All chocolate and very little roast or coffee. Thin and disappointing. False advertising with espresso. Untitled Arts has been slipping in recent years ..

12 FL OZ can
Served in a snifter

This beer pours black and is topped with a small, sandstone head that leaves spotty lacing.

A lot of espresso in the aroma. Unsweetened espresso. I get some anise. The chocolate is overwhelmed by the espresso.

Black espresso flavor. Cacao. A little anise

Medium bodied with a smooth mouthfeel

I expected a chocolate and coffee flavored beer. I got the espresso but was disappointed in the chocolate. What I did get was bitter.

12 ounce can - $5.00 at Woodstock Beer Market in Woodstock, Georgia.

Appearance: Pours a very dark brown, near black body with a surprisingly sustained inch of beige foam.

Smell: Dusky dark malts housing notes of chocolate powder, toast, burnt peanut shells, finely-ground espresso and a little splash of booze.

Taste: Chocolaty dark maltiness with a medium amount of sweetness. Subtler coffee tones and lesser, lighter touches of toast, nuttiness and dark fruit. A bit more of the coffee character showing on the warming finish.

Mouthfeel: Medium-plus body. Medium carbonation. Nicely creamy mouthfeel.

Overall: A solid dark maltiness with a quality akin to melty chocolate-coffee ice cream with a small thimble of grain alcohol.

Great roasted coffee aroma, medium to full body, slick, semi oily mouthfeel. Finish is more alcohol forward than the nose. Semi astringent, bitter finish with lingering coffee noyes and roasted malts. Sipping stout, not bad, but not smooth enough to drink often.

Spotted this two days ago and picked up a single to try it.
Poured stout black with a very light brown head that left no lacing.
The aroma is lost on my Covid damaged nose, sorry.
The taste is that of a quite good coffee stout, but unlike Founders offering of the same name, no chocolate could I detect.
The feel is a little lighter than expected, but that doesn’t detract from the flavor.
OA, I don’t think I’d buy the whole 6 pack but I will go buy a few more.
