Poured into a 13 oz tulip glass canned recently. Pours a very dark brown with little to no head, leaves a little thin lace behind after each sip.
Smell is cocoa, pine, coffee, and some grapefruit rind.
Taste follows but way more aggressive and bitter, way over the top and very unbalanced for my liking.
Mouthfeel is a tad thin, low carbonation, not dry, and fairly approachable considering how unbalanced it is.
Overall they need to get the carbonation issues under control, very expensive for a less than impressive beer. I hope they pull it together and get it all figured out. Cool place with loads of potential, but this a big and expensive disappointment.
