16 oz can
Pours a dark clear amber color, foamy cream colored head. Decent head retention. Aroma of toasted malt and white wine heavy hops. Similar taste, got a little bit of a tang in the finish. Medium bodied.

Very, very hop forward despite being called a Red Ale. No flavor other than bitter hops. No richness or maltiness. Color is amber, nothing like the color of a red ale. Surprisingly pleasant, fruity aroma though. Mislabeled as a red ale. Taste is more of an amber colored IPA. Extremely disappointing, unpleasant drink. Will not buy it again. A local craft beer store in NH recommended it, and my opinion of that store has declined as a result. Checked the website for Rek Lis brewing after trying the beer, and learned that they do describe it as hoppy, so I give them some credit for an accurate description, if not for a tasty brew.

From the 2022 batch sampled on December 26, 2022.
Attractive looking amber-red pour underneath a lacing-leaving tan head. Moderate clarity. Inviting.
The aroma is typical Irish Red with its sort of tanan malt, grape and floral characters. Perfume sensations.
Medium mouthfeel.
The taste is sweet and floral for the most part. There is a mild traditional bitterness at the end and it is moderately dry. Clean overall. Decent. Would have again.

Pours a two-finger, white head that fades quickly, leaving a trace of lace. Nearly clear deep amber. Good carbonation and light-medium bodied. Roasted malted nose and flavor starts roasted malt, finish is smooth, hops are mellow. 16oz black can.
