I get on these CANQuest (tm) kicks & it becomes increasingly difficult to stop! I have four (4) of these LYTT beers, out of five of which I am aware & I just want to review them & be done. To say that they are tough is an understatement. It is more like an exercise in just being silly. Oh well. CANiosity might kill this cat, but I'll go down swinging!

From the CAN: "Premium reverse osmosis malt beverage with Guarana & Strawberry Lemonade natural flavors and certified color."; "Flavored Ale".

I remain utterly dubious as to the latter. Is this NOT a Lager? Hmm. I Crack!ed open the massive vent & beCAN a slow, gentle Glug into the awaiting glass. It was as still as the night following nuclear Armageddon! No fizzing, no head, nothing. Just stillness. Eerie, man! Color was a cloudy light-Pink (SRM = N/A). It was a light-salmon color, but the lack of action was putting me off. Nose was incredibly sweet & by closing my eyes, I could (figuratively) see how they arrived at Strawberry-Lemonade. Mouthfeel was thin & watery, which seems to be their trademark. The taste beCAN incredibly sweet before mellowing out into a slightly tart lemonade flavor. The problem was that it was so darn sweet! Lissen, I like strawberry lemonade, what with strawberries being my fave fruit, but this was SO artificial as to be laughable. Man, it tasted like what a chem lab thinks that strawberry lemonade should taste like. 8=p Not only was it gaggingly super-sweet, but the alcohol was thinly veiled, rendering it a payload that you don't want dropped on your (potentially) unsuspecting ass. Payload? This was like a Louisville Slugger to either the forehead or the back of the cranium, but either way, it was bringing the hurt. Finish remained super sweet & worse, the alcohol was LESS evident, making it THAT MUCH easier to drink! Ugh. This could really put the serious hurt to the unsuspecting CANsumer. CANveat emptor!
