On-tap at the brewery and served in a hefeweizen glass, this beer draws a cloudy, hazy light golden color with a white head that's about half an inch thick when first served that settles fairly quickly to a fairly thick ring lining the inside if the glass along with a big cluster swirl of foam present in one half of the beer's surface. Aromas of some bready malts, wheat, yeast, clove and banana. The taste is pretty much the same, with bready malts and wheat notes with some yeastiness that gives way to banana and clove with a slight pepperyness. Slight earthy, herbal hop bitterness to round out the flavor profile. Has a crisp, somewhat frothy and slightly smooth, medium to full bodied mouthfeel with moderate to heavy carbonation. Has a clean finish, and the flavors really like to linger on my palate after each sip.
