Foggy burnt amber with a thin cream-colored ring.
Smell is light grape, apple and banana with caramel--like an old school candy turned into beer.
This tastes sort of like grape soda with bitter greens, toast and toffee.
Crisp and bubbly through a medium-light body, the finish is semi-dry.
Full disclosure: I guess I don’t like Maibocks, but this was better than the Brew Kettle one I had recently.
