Great Valley Farm Brewery

 

Might have the best view from the outside seating of any brewery I’ve ever been to, it is truly breathtaking. My wife and I visited this establishment on route to Asheville in the fall of 2021. The service is amazing. The Bartender was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable of their beers. They do not have a lot on tap but what they do have are exceptional. Our 2 dogs were permitted in the tasting room. It is a must visit off the map brewery to visit.

Might have the best vista from the outside seating of any brewery I’ve been to. On top of a hill overlooking their grape vines(they are also a winery) with mountains in the background. Just off I81 at the Natural Bridge exit. Has 8 taps. Beer was great. Bartender friendly. No food when we were there, but they do get foodtrucks.

 

Visited this out of the way brewery on a Thursday afternoon on the way to a Virginia Tech football game.

It's just off I-81with a great view. Don't worry if it looks like you are getting ready to drive into someone's back 40.

The owners were behind the bar. Friendly, small inside but a great view outside. A wide variety of styles to choose from, decent taste, but hopefully their receipes mature.

I look forward to another visit as this place is conveniently off I-81 if you happen to be in that part of SW Virginia.

 

Small 7 barrel farm brewery on a hill top with a great view... less than 2 miles off the highway... taproom bar seats 6 and a few tables.. 8 beers on tap, the 2 I had were solid.... Definitely make this stop again
