355ml can - the latest in their 'Patio Series'. Christ, could they have made the marketing blurb on the label in a smaller type? I gave up trying to read it, even under a bright light.

This beer pours a hazy, medium golden yellow colour, with two fingers of puffy, finely foamy, and somewhat creamy off-white head, which leaves a few instances of melting snowbank profile lace around the glass as it lazily subsides.

It smells of bready and doughy cereal malt, a lesser grainy wheatiness, muddled earthy spice, faint generic citrus rind, and some ethereal leafy, herbal, and floral green hop bitters. The taste is gritty and grainy pale malt, wet Wheat Thins, mildly tangy coriander spice, a hint of estery yeastiness, still hard to detect orange notes, and more well-understated leafy, musty, and dead floral hoppiness.

The carbonation is adequate in its palate-coating frothiness, the body a decent middleweight, and generally smooth, with a nice airy creaminess evolving as things warm around here (the beer, not the temperature inside my house). It finishes off-dry, the malt and spice exhibiting the most lingering fervour.

Overall - this is indeed a pleasant enough version of the style, full of flavour, and fairly robust. Another easy-imbiber on a sultry Alberta summer afternoon, which is starting to make me feel like a broken record, of late. Good, good stuff!
