A- Great idea with the removable stickers on the can....my kids loved them! This pours a slightly chill hazed light golden color with a very decent almost white colored head, that shows lovely retention, starting out about two fingers in thickness, and settling down to a thick ring around the inside rim, along with a swirly covering above the liquid. The carbonation appears to be slow and methodical in its rising while the lacing seems to be sticky and clingy to the inside of the glass.
S- Decent hop bitterness, that is counter balanced by sweet crystal and pale malts. I don't assume this is the case, but there is a buttery aroma, alongside orchard and citrus fruitiness (peach, apple, orange and lemon zest). Underlying smells of dry biscuit, beer yeast, sweet herbal leaf (like basil) and the finish is of dry hop cone bitterness....overall quite nice!
T- The flavors are close to the aromas noted, but I do detect a fair bit of floral prowess on the palate! Hop bitterness would be the secondary flavor, but it isn't overpowering, soothing yeast, cracker dryness, muted vanilla, citrus and orchard fruits like tart apple, orange, and mellow peach/nectarine. The finish is grassy dry, with hop cones and a lingering fruitiness that sticks around until the next taste.
M/O- Light/medium body, smooth yet plentiful carbonation and plenty of subdued flavors make this an easy drinking dry hopped lager! I could enjoy probably 2 or 3 of these in a sitting without tiring of it. Would also pair well with a spicy dish, to help cut through any seasonings, but does well on its own. Overall this is a nice collaboration and I recommend!
