Sampling a cellar temp 16 oz can poured at cellar temp into my snifter. the beer pours a fairly clear golden color with a fluffy bleached white head of 5 cm even with a gentle pour.Several fine streams of carbonation rise to the surface of the glass.
the aroma is some spicy hop notes and a bit of resin too. Some very light caramel is buried in the nose.
First sip reveals an average to light body with crisp texture and very fine and tingly carbonation. The physical traits make this a very easy brew to drink.
Flavor is what the nose advertises with some light caramel or grainy malt upfront. This rolls to a bit of spicy note and finishes with some sap like resin hop flavor that has a bit of bitterness to it. The bitterness lingers and the swallow dries out my palate on each mouthful.
A nice crisp pale ale with interesting flavor profile and just enough complexity. Well done guys!
