Sampling a cold 16 oz can poured into a snifter. The beer pours a slightly cloudy copper color with a large fluffy eggshell white head foaming up 4 cm even with a gentle pour. The foam fades pretty gradually leaving windowpane lattice on the glass as it settles to the surface. A sturdy edge layer and wispy island remain throughout.
The aroma on this beer is some sweet toffee and caramel but then some citrus fruit and a bit of berry note comes through. I also get a little white grape note on the swallow. This is a complex hop profile ,but not overly robust and in my face.
The first sip reveals an average to light body with fine tingly carbonation.
Flavor is some caramel but then lots of fruit with melon and white grape notes. There is a bit of lingering bite after each swallow, but no hints of any booze. The bitterness lingers long after each swallow and the finish is very dry. A nice IPA and easy to drink.
