A: cloudy; pale gold in color; 1+ finger finely pored ivory head that receded to a wispy cap; nice lacing;

S: quite aromatic; pineapple, orange, mango, and a little dankness;

T: mango with orange and sweet pineapple juice in the background; a quick bite, then fairly sweet through the finish; the touch of bitterness is more than matched by the sweetness;

M: medium bodied; moderate carbonation; moderately dry finish; soft; hides the ABV well;

O: really nicely made, but a bit sweet for me;

This is a crazy easy drinking NETIPA. Pours a very hazy yellow orange with a massive 2 plus finger sticky white head that leaves a thick wall of lace with amazing retention. 4.75

Smell is guava, pineapple, tangerine, papaya, and apricot really nice nothing dominating. 4.75

Taste follows big guava and papaya upfront tangerine, pineapple, and apricot in the really balanced and juicy finish. 4.75

Mouthfeel is big, gentle soft on the palate, a tad sticky but not dry, and at 9.8% really easy drinking with no alcohol detected at all. 5

Overall this one really standouts as special, belongs in the big leagues in my opinion. Has a wow factor for sure. 4.75

*original review*On tap at the brewery. Updated review on can bought from brewery dated 4/24/19. Citra all the way. Alcohol is well hidden for a triple (is this a triple at 9.8%?). Starts off with loads of citrus and a hint of pine sneaking through. Quickly goes syrup sweet with an almost imperceptible alcohol burn on the finish which will increase as the beer warms. After mulling this one over I have decided that it's just too sweet. In some ways this is the apotheosis of the NEIPA, but it's just not for me. On tap at the brewery this was a different beer that wasn't as sweet and I enjoyed it much more.

For a beer with this ABV you really think it should be a sipper but surprisingly it is not. Totally drinkable. Milkshake looking with a big hoppy aroma that reminds me of Treehouse. Tropical wave of hops, not overly bitter, good dose of sweetness but never too much. No hint of booze. Really incredible the way they put this together. Usually "triple IPAs" suck but this breaks the mold.

Tried this at Eli Cannon's in Middletown, CT. Came in a tulip glass with about a quarter inch of head leaving behind a small rim of lacing. It's cloudy and golden. Fruity and floral aroma with pine notes. Taste is piney and citrus peel forward. Not very oily in terms of mouthfeel but bubbly. Nice dipa, I'd drink it again.
