Too Close to the TV is an American IPA with intense mandarin orange and tangerine like characteristics. A sturdy body supports the deluge of fruit forward hop varieties in this beer.

16oz can. Pours a hazy dirty brownish orange with 2 inches of frothy head. Some lacing. Aromas of orange, pineapple, grapefruit, lime and tangerine. The taste has a bit more malt flavor than expected. Orange, tangerine, pineapple and a bit of grapefruit. Tangerine and orange finish with some more of the malts. Light to medium body with an oily mouthfeel.

Sampling a cold 16 oz can of this beer poured into my trusty snifter. The beer pours a cloudy orange color with a fluffy bleached white head of 3 cm foaming up even with a gentle pour. This foam fades to a sturdy surface layer and leaves windowpane lattice after each sip from my glass.
The aroma is citrusy with orange and mango mixing together. I also get a faint note of pineapple, almost tart scent. Lots of hops on this one with a bit of biscuity malt note.
The first sip reveals an average body with fine tingly carbonation and a silky smooth texture that makes this beer easy to drink.
The flavor is briefly cracker malt and then moves too the citrus notes that were predicted in the nose. I get orange and mango with some slightly tart and acidic pineapple notes. No hint of booze anywhere on this brew.
This is a nice IPA with lots of citrus notes. Its easy to drink and worth a shot if this stays in the rotation at the brewery.
