Sampling a cold 16 oz can picked up at the brewery. Canned on date of 8-6-2020. Beer has been in my fridge since purchase. Pouring into my .5L dimple mug.
The beer pours a slightly hazy goldenrod color with several active streams of carbonation rising to the surface. These streams feed a large fluffy bleached white head of 2 cm. This foam slowly fades to the wispy surface layer and leaves spotty lattice on my glass as it recedes.
Aroma is a little biscuity and grainy malt with some hints of lemon and some grassy hop note. Nose is mild overall.
First sip reveals a light crisp textured body with fine tingly carbonation and very easy drinking physical features.
Flavor is what nose predicts. I get a bit of grainy malt, then some lemon and biscuity notes, this rolls to some light spicy hop finish. The finish totally dries out my palate and makes me want to take another sip.
A quite nice and easily drinkable pils.
