Poured from a 16oz can stamped “YOU SHAMROCK! 03.17.22” to a Nonic at fridge temp.
A puffy white 1.5-inch head sits on top . The body is an opaque muted orange reminiscent of apricot juice. This beer laces the glass nicely all the way to the bottom.
The aroma is melon, mango and apricot with a minor dank background.
Apricot and melon are at the beginning of a swig. There is a real sweetness in the middle but the finish is slightly bitter hoppiness.
The mouthfeel is on the lower side of creamy.
Overall a well done fruity NEIPA.

From a 16oz can, dated 10/16/20. Served in an IPA glass.
Pours cloudy-hazy, pale mango-gold with two-plus fingers of super-soft, lathery foam. Retention is spectacular, slowly collapsing into a fat, dimpled, pouffy, merengue-like cap and a heavy blanket of lacing.
Aroma is vanishingly faint, something vaguely floral and lemony-sharp - pleasant enough, but I have to get my nose right down in the glass and leave it there.
Tastes of underripe fruit and perfumy flowers. Honeydew, nectarine, pineapple cores and papaya, melon rinds, and a certain almost-spicy-but-more-like-spilled perfume character. Bitterness is low but noticeable. A mostly clean finish, with just a bit of the melon rind lingering.
Feel is juicy, medium bodied and brightly carbonated. If ‘juicy’ is what you’re looking for in an IPA, this is the one.
