L: Pours a pale gold with a full haze. A high slow pour results in a fine, white 2 finger head with good retention. After a few minutes or so the head has fallen to about 3 mm and is retained as the beer goes down. The head leaves a nice ringed lacing as I drink.

S: Lots of guava, some grapefruit notes, mago, and a bit of papaya. As the beer warms I also get a few grassy/herbal notes.

T: Following the nose I get a decent amount of guava on the front end with grapefruit rind and doughy malt in the middle and ripe, juicy papaya and light notes of mango creamsicle on the back end. The finish has some herbal character.

F: This has a medium body with medium-low carbonation. The mouthfeel is smooth with a nice dry finish.

O: I think this is my first experience with HBC 586 and I really like the guava-papaya combo on this one. Recommended!
