Amoret is an American wild ale that consists of a blend of wood aged mixed fermentation beer, including a portion of spontaneous beer from our Coolship. The base blend rested on more than 300 lbs of freshly picked cherries for more than 8 months after more than a year in oak.
The result of time, fresh fruit, wild yeast, wood, patience, and care is a special beer that offers tart cherry, lactic tartness, funky wild barnyard notes alongside balanced acid and woody character.

Appearance: Pours a pink grapefruit juice color with a fizzy head that fades to a ringlet and archipelago; speckles of lacing
Smell: Oak and tart cherry with some funky yeast
Taste: A hint of sweet cherry is followed up by a massive shift to the tart side with oak and acidity building, through the middle; somewhat dry but puckeringly tart in the finish
Mouthfeel: Medium body with low carbonation
Overall: I'm let down a little by the mouthfeel and would like to have seen more complexity in the flavors; its a good wild ale but could be better
Thanks, devoured_by_vermin, for the opportunity
