A special project in collaboration with our friends from Troegs Independent Brewing in Hershey, PA, we are excited to share "Noble Souls" Coolship Lager. Providing a gentle sweet and bready character, and hopped in the coolship to provide an herbaceous balance, this lager delivers a refined balance in aroma, flavor and is incredibly drinkable.

A: medium gold in color; crystal clear; less than a 1 finger white head that receded to a wispy cap with a moderate tight collar; light lacing;

S: nice balance between malt and spicy hops;

T: again, nicely balanced; the hops come through as lemon zest; mild bitterness at the end;

M: light to medium bodied; moderate carbonation; moderately dry finish;

O: refreshing; easy drinking;

Canned 2024/05/10
Pours a fizzy bubbly 1 finger head with moderate retention, a touch of lacing, mostly clear chill haze golden tan color

Nose brings grainy cereal malt, blonde malt, straw, a bit of bready doughy malts, light floral herbal noble hops

Taste brings malt up front again, straw, more bread dough and cereal, grainy sweet notes, fair herbal floral noble hops but not a ton, med-light bitterness, hint of pilsner corn, drier finish with hops getting a spicy bitterness

Mouth is med bod, med to a bit higher frothy carb

Overall not bad, straight forward lager with all the right characters
