Clear Intent lager brings beautifully bready flavors with soft and delicate hints of amber honey derived from malts made in the Czech Republic. Bright and floral , Saaz sunshine provides herbaceous balance in each sip.
Our intent was clear in designing a beer that you wanted to refill your mug with more than once. We're honored to brew this lager with our friends at Von Trapp for your enjoyment.

A: crystal clear; pale gold in color; 1 finger finely pored fizzy white head that receded to a skim cap; nice lacing;
S: a little skunky;
T: bready for a moment, the moderately spicy through the finish; a little skunky throughout; mild to moderate bitterness at the end;
M: light to medium bodied; moderate carbonation; moderately dry finish;
O: for me, this is a little too spicy without anything to balance it;

Appearance - clear straw coloured body with white head
Smell - biscuit, bread crust, grassy/herbaceous
Taste - Bread crust, biscuit, herbs,
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied, medium carbonation, bready upfront, herbaceous in the finish, good noble hop bite to keep you coming back for more sips
Overall - I'm loving this beer, one of the best in the style that I've had in a long while. Full flavored and easy drinking, this is a brew that fans of the style should treat themselves to. Most of these Von Trapp Collaborations are hitting and this one is no exception. Recommended.
Price Point - $10.99/ 4 pack 16 oz cans

Wonderful beer from two of my favorite lager breweries. Czechs all the boxes for the style and also has a subtle yeast character that brings an extra layer of complexity to the nose and palate. Rich bready notes dominate supported by wildflower laced alfalfa and light notes of earthy noble spice interlacing with a restrained expression of bready yeast. Highly recommended!

Pours with a fluffy 1/2 inch head that is quick to say adios. Color is a semi-opaque yellow color - looks like a bit of chill haze maybe. I'm not overly enamored with the aroma, it has an odd note to it that I can't quite place, almost a chemical like overtone. Taste wise, I don't get a lot of bready notes, it's a little underwhelming - I expected more to be honest. Bottom line for me, I don't like this beer. It's also very fresh as it was canned on 5/27/2025 - which means 8 days ago. The thing I like the least about it is the aroma, it's rather strange and off-putting.
