L: Pours a deep gold color with light haze and 2 fingers of off white head. As the beer goes down it leaves a pattern of ringed and webbed lacing on the glass.
S: Rich bready malt character, slightly toasted grains, earthy floral hops, and a bit of noble spice.
T: Follows the nose pretty closely. Rich bready malt, lightly toasted grains, a bit of yeast character, earthy grassy and floral hop character, and a moderate amount of peppery noble spice. This one on balance has a nice medium bitterness.
F: Medium body with moderate carbonation. The mouthfeel is a bit creamy with a nice dry finish.
O: Expertly crafted beer with a nice balance and interplay between the hop and malt bills. Rich, toasty and grainy Maillard character is the star here striking a balance more toward an amber kellerbier. Everything comes together making this IMHO a world class example of the style rivaling many continental examples. Highly recommended!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
